Well. Here we are, Emily's graduated (yeah Em! so proud) and we're getting ready to head out to Barcelona (followed by Italy). With any luck we'll be able to keep this updated along the way so that we can keep you all informed of our vacation adventure. Wish us luck!
Especially for that whole traveling across an ocean with a toddler thing. (I'm pretty sure my mother-in-law had some kind of super powers. I'm freaking out, a bit, about traveling with one kid and she managed with four, alone.) But, the bags are packed, the passports are all in hand, and as long as we've got "monkey" we should be alright.

Our Apartment in Barcelona
A little nervous about renting an apartment on-line but everyone says the neighborhood is a good one (not too many parties, lots of families, near public transport, on a good street) and as long as it's safe and clean I think we'll be happy.
